Bear Mill Estate & Inn is an intimate destination event venue located in Denver, Pennsylvania. Originally built in 1739, it was once home to one of Lancaster County’s original grist mills and named after its first owner, Michael Bear. The estate is surrounded by the breathtaking rolling hills of Lancaster County and nestled along the Cocalico Creek.

In 2015 the Bear Mill Estate won the C. Emlen Urban Award for Restorative and Adaptive Reuse from the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County.

Facilities and Capacity

Bear Mill Estate can accommodate up to 120 guests in its rustic indoor and outdoor event spaces. In addition to its beautifully appointed indoor spaces, Bear Mill Estate features stunning grounds that capture the best of Pennsylvania’s four seasons. An island preserve, a pond and gardens on its grounds, provide the perfect backdrop to an outdoor wedding. The venue is ideal for hosting any number of events–corporate meetings, showers, engagement parties, ceremonies and fundraisers.

In addition to the event spaces, the property also offers overnight accommodations at its Inn. The Inn offers 4 bedrooms, each with private baths and can be booked as part of your event or as a stand-alone stay.
